As the subject says I have a new 8830 and deployed BEM Express on my Exchange 2003 (SP2) environment today and am using the Default IT Policy.

I have been able to successfully complete the BBEnterprise Activation and email is flowing nicely.

Two issues I am presently have so far, at least I think they're issues!

1) My calendar is not syncing on the phone with what I have at work, I must be missing something!

2) My personal contact have sync'd but the Global Address Book did not, is it supposed to?

If your BES is on the same box as the Exchange Server then the Calendar is most likely due to permissions. What account did you install the BES as? Any admin accounts break the Calendar. Use this article to create and switch your BES to run as the BESAdmin:

If you create an appointment in Outlook will it sync to the BB? Calendar should sync in one direction. If not check to see if wireless sync is enabled on one of the devices Calendar options.

No, the GAL is only for Lookups.

I got my Calendar working this morning by redoing the Enterprise Activation, not sure why it didn't work the first two times I tried that...

Nevermind, I figured out how to access the GAL now, VERY useful.

This is the best investment I've made in a looong time!
