Default Blackberry Manager unknown authority

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all. Having a littel issue after I upgraded my server from 4.0.7.8 to 4.1.4. After the upgrade I can't view the Blackberry manager. I get the following error, "blackberry manager unknown authority". Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it?

Thanks,

Are you opening the BB Manager from the Desktop? Have you tried opening it from the Programs Menu? Usually the icon on the Desktop doesn't upgrade and you have to replace it. It usually opens with a white or ghost BES and has very limited functionality.

Are you logged in as the BESAdmin? Do you use SQL Authentication?

I am opening the BB manager from programs and am on the server. I am not opening it from my desktop. Are there any permissions that I am missing?

Yes make sure that your local NT account is added to your SQL server logins and give it Server Administrator and you should have no more problems.
