Default PDF Viewing

Please Login to Remove!

A friend of mine had a PDF for me to view so i had him send it to my email because i had heard that you could view PDFs as attachments. I received the email and told it to open and it did. This is where i was disappointed. It is very hard to read. I press full image and it enhances and i can read it but it is a severe strain. I realize you can zoom in closer and "enhance" and it is very easy to read but you only get the screens space and it takes too much time to enhance, read, and then back out and repeat.

Is there an easier way to view PDFs?

BeamBerry - It's not cheap, but if you need document viewing / storage - it's worth the price (to me anyway)!

I have used BeamBerry in the past (when it was free) and I did like it but for the amount of viewing i will be doing it is not a viable investment.

I guess our blackberries aren't perfect.

Default One solution

Try this.

Open the attachment

From the menu select "view text"

You can then at least read the text of the pdf. Pictures or graphics don't work though.

Hope that gets you a bit further to a solution.
