Default BB 8830 Message 'More' Request Can't Be Completed

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Verizon 8830 on our BES (we're mostly AT&T), that has an issue I've not seen before.

We are an Exchange environment (v6.5 SP2), running two BES v4.1.4.26, and a single MS SQL database.

We had performed a complete security wipe of the device, reloaded the most recent device software from Verizon (4.2.2.176), added him to our BES and activated the BB. It was less then a week later the user reported the issue.

This 8830 is producing an error when the user tries to retrieve "More" from his truncated messages. The error he's reporting is:

"More request can't be completed, service book info not found"

My question is, which service book? We've deleted and resent the CMIME Service Book. Or perhaps it's missing a service book from Verizon?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've scoured this forum in both the 'BES Admin Corner' and 'General 8800 Series Discussion' sections. We do have support from RIM, but thought I'd check here first as it's seems this is where I can quickly get "Expert" information!

You've done what's been suggested here:

More Request Cannot Be Completed

So if you have T-Support you may want to call....

Wow! Thx for the quick response.

Yes, we deleted and resent the CMIME service book.

The second scenario, POP or IMAP, I don't believe is the issue. But I'll have the tech who's can get his hands on the device check it out.
