At my place of work we have a small team of blackberry helpers and I have this situation in which a client requested to have his personal blackberry sync with the companies email by USB cable, we have a BES and of course we enterprise activate all of the devices, but I never had to do this. So I installed the desktop manager and we sync her email fine, but now the calendar items are doubling and she is getting these RIM server emails. Not sure what I did wrong or is this normal. Did I set the desktop redirector wrong? What should I choose when installing it? Any ideas thanks!!!!!!!

First off, email doesn't sync on any BB. Email certainly doesn't sync via USB.

What exactly were you trying to do? Is this BB going to be on BES or just syncing via USB? The messages are due to an improper install of Desktop Manager. You selected redirector or something inappropriate and you'll need to uninstall and reinstall. Without answers to the prior questions it's difficult to tell you exactly what's wrong.

LOL!! Yeah sorry about that, I am so used to working with enterprise devices I forget stuff. Yeah! I was incorrect: only tasks, calendar, notes and contacts will sync. I uninstalled the desktop manager and reinstalled using the BIS option and everything worked great. Thanks!!!! This forum rocks!!!!
