Default How do I tell my Pearl to download the whole message?

Please Login to Remove!

Hopefully a nice easy one...

Recently upgraded the software on my Pearl and since then when I get an e-mail all I receive is the message header I have to hit the application button and select "More" or "More All". I want it to just download the whole message in one go.

It's getting a little annoying and I can't figure out how to get round it.

Ta muchly in advance.

Messages > Options > General Options > Auto More.

What part of the message header do you get--none of the initial part of the email at all?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response, that worked perfectly.

Hopefully another quick question, is there a way of doing that for the sent items as well?

Thanks again.

Your sent items will send completely, each time, not just a portion of the message.

Am I understanding your questions correct?

No, sorry, didn't explain properly.

If I send something from my PC then later want to review it on my Pearl, I have to go into the menu and download more to see what I have sent.

You have to go to your BB menu in the message, and ask for more? Correct, that is the way the BB operates. It initially downloads the headers of an email and the first 2kb. When it needs more, it will grab it (if you have Automore enabled in the Message Options) and then it grabs another 2kb, in 2kb chunks at a time.

If the BB downloaded ALL of every message that was delivered, your BB would explode, or at least not be able to handle all the constant data and memory hogging.
