Hello all,

I got my 8300 over 3 weeks ago and have some issues with it. First and foremost, when a contact i have saved on my phone calls me, 3 out of 5 times, the call does not display the contacts' name even though i had previously saved the entry.

Another issue i have is that sometimes when i have missed calls and i prompt for the missed calls it does not show the most recent missed call.


Thirdly, if i receive an sms from any LOCAL contact i have on my phone, it does not display the contacts' name, only the number.. This however does not include sms received from international sms received.
This is rather frustrating as i always have to copy the number then dial to confirm the contact that sent the sms.

Please help....

You didn't state that you had previously tried it. Are you using a 3rd party theme?

Also, did you try a hard reset? Battery pull while the device is on? It would be helpful if you listed out what you have tried for resolution.

Sorry my bad..... i have tried the stuff on blackberryfaq.com, no show. I Have also tried a hard reset no show.... any other ideas?

Are you using a third party theme?
