Default Media Manager is not showing my phone's folders and stuff

Please Login to Remove!

maybe the problem is 2BB and 1 comp?
My sister and I have the same phones
and my sister installed cd with bbtools and then she opened her folders and added some music and stuff
then I connected my phone to the comp. and it says that "nessesary applications are missing" but i skip that message and when I open media, I don't see anything in it
it does not recognize my phone....even the wizard software could not....

please help

what should i do?

You both have a Media Card installed in the BBs?

Disconnect from the USB.
Close DM.

Reopen DM, reconnect, try again. Does it work?

If not, disconnect again, close DM, reboot the PC, reconnect and try again.

You actually don't need Desktop Manager/Media Manager running to transfer files if you will enable Mass Storage at Options > Media Card. Then just drag and drop files to your Media Card as a removable drive.

Good luck.

If you don't have a media card then it's not recommended to store more than a few songs on the device memory. However, to store data on the device memory you'll need to use Media Manager.

Use the loader wizard to reinitialize the device.
