I need your assistance.

I own the BlackBerry 8700, and I'm not sure if the OS is the new one. Anyways, how can I know what OS am I using, and secondly what is the new OS of BlackBerry (and advantage over the old one), and lastly, how can I download and install the new OS and from where?

Thanks I updated my BB OS and it is great. However, I now cannot read text messages sent in Arabic. Previously, any messages sent in Arabic (text or email), I was able to read, but now, it shows boxes only. What should I do to be able to read Arabic characters?

Did anyone get chance to see my post - I really need your help for getting Arabic reading possible for SMS, Email, etc. Right now characters not compatible. Please help me.

Run the desktop manager and in the Application Loader see if the Arabic language is unchecked. If it is check mark it and then it should install the language.

Hi Ricky-Ray, thanks for responding. The Arabic language is not an option in the desktop manager. How could I get it to be displayed at first place? Accordingly, I can install it.
