Default shutting that darn aol alert off

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I keep getting in trouble at work, does anyone know how to make that alert either be off, or just vibrate.

I have tried all profiles quite and vibrate both still have the loud alert for incoming aol.

I did not see any options for it in the edit profile section.

Disable the AOL system until RIM releases an updated 7100 firmware -- a fix should be out soon.

I'd better be more than a "fix"... More like a whole new version.

:D

Since the AOL client is a 3rd party application and not distributed by RIM, that's cool that they're planning on fixing it.

Just set yourself /away.

I don't think it makes noise if you're /away.

Do you guys sign on to AOL and leave it signed on, is this why you are getting notifications?

I do.

I'm signed in all the time, but I only hear noises when I'm not marked "away" in the client.
