Blackberry TV ads...Annoying??
Please Login to Remove!
I am a fan of everything Blackberry and I spport it just like anyother BB Forums member but I find one thing annoying...the repeated ads during the NBA playoff games. I know that T-Mobile is the official phone for the NBA and they are know for the amount of Blackberry that they have for sale but I mean EVERY commercial break, you see the guy kicking the soccer ball and blah, blah , blah...does anybody else find this annoying???

I guess I know what you mean with the repetition of the ads. The NBA is notorious for their programming having 4 ads for the entire playoffs so the product is just pounded into you. It would be nice if there were a few different BB ads.
It is good to see RIM showing it's soft, cuddly consumer side a bit more though. Remember, more units sold = more R&D money. Now we just have to hope RIM stays true to their core business model and phone design that has gotten them here!

I appreciate the fix on the poll. Fizzleation is right on point. I mean I am all for the ads and everything but the repetition of the same ad really gets annoying. I mean..I assume that BB would have made another ad to coincide with the current one...add some variety.

There is something hypnotic about that spinning soccer ball... it catches my eye and holds it every single time.. And remember, we aren't allowed to complain about anything NBA related, its FAAAANNNNTTTTTAAASSTTIICCC! |

They don't bother me based off the fact that BB finally has gotten off their butt and decided to do some marketing. It only took this latest group of competitors (iPhone, Touch diamond, wm 6.1) to get them to realized you can't live off reputation forever.

No, they don't annoy me, but I do annoy my wife. Of course I do consider that a "perk" of being married. Whenever I see a commercial, or just spot a BB on a TV show or movie, I immediately identify it. Plus I add commentary about whether I've owned that one or not (usually I have). A common response is "Ugh, you're SUCH a GEEK." And I wear it like a badge of honor.  |
