hey everyone

i am having problems with a couple of t mobile blackberrys a curve and a pearl 1 and 2. everytime after a reset there is a voicemail icon showing but no voicemail. if i call there is no voicemail and a new voicemail must be left on the phone and then checked for it to go away.

has anyone else had this problem and how do i get it to stop its annoying to see the icon there all the time.

It's annoyance that I've seen, as well. Not sure what to tell you about it. I did recently switch to YouMail - Cell Phone Voice Mail with Personalized Greetings and Online Retrieval and am very happy. Not sure it will rid that problem, though.

maybe a complete wipe with Jl_cmder and reload of the OS will help? i have never had this issue with my curve or pearl, both are t-mobile devices used on their network.

Personally, I wouldnt' go to that trouble. Maybe on the next OS upgrade.

Try leaving yourself a voicemail so you can clear it out or a battery pull may do the trick.

thats what i usually do is call from another phone to leave a voicemail and then check it so it goes away but it shows up everytime after a battery pull
