Default Good bye Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Its been a fun week and I learned a lot about Blackberries. I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful help I've gotten help from here on the forum. I know people don't care when a newbie leaves but I just wanted to post something. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the blackberry OS is. It multitasks very well. Its very stable and very reliable. It looks wonderful. Its super user friendly. I plan to come back in a year or so when the next best thing comes out.

I bought an HTC WM6 Titan PPC 6800. I use to have one but I traded it last year for a treo. It has independent free gps along with all the other bells and whistles. I wanted to try a blackberry to see what I was missing. There are definitely many points where BB beats WM but over all for me I prefer WM. The GPS, online radio, compatibility with the blackboard school website,,,, and several other things seem to work better on the Titan versus the Curve. So its back to xda-developer.com for me. I just wanted to post a thanks,,,, many of the users on this forum have given me a ton of great info.

Fair enough. Look forward to welcoming you back next time.

Hope that the 6800 serves you well!

Just because you no longer have a blackberry doesn't mean you have to leave us, kick off your shoes and stay awhile.

I spent a lot of time on xda-developers and have to say I like the people here way more. Nothing against the xda guys. It's just a lot different.

Wow, someone leaving the BlackBerry with a reasonable cause, a calm attitude and even providing helpful feedback on why.

When did I land in Oz?

But can I ask for specifics? Mostly like what things in WM you prefer exactly?

Good luck with the HTC device! I have had the MDA and Wing. But like everyone is saying stick around. Enjoy the forum. Etc. I am also a member at XDA.

You will be back as some of the other lost sheep that have recently returned after going to the dark side. Good luck in the meantime.
