Default I think I'm getting filtered

Please Login to Remove!

I am on a BES but do NOT have an IT 3rd Party policy restriction but I think my browser is being filtered. Here's a scenario that I have tried many times.

I click on a link do an OTA on some themes. My browser spins, clocks out, and returns with this message "Unable to connect to the selected Mobile Data Service, please try again later...."

So I try it to some websites for OTA that I think would be filtered such as RIM's own theme partners (BPlay, etc) and it works.

Am I being filtered? Any way to avoid this beside downloading the theme file ALX files to install (some people don't allow this).

By "filtered", do you mean "restricted" by you BES?

Why don't you ask them?

Has this worked for you before? Did you make any changes to the device between when it worked and now, such as an OS upgrade?

No. Worked well before. No changes to the OS. I tried other sites which I believe may be listed as "trusted" and they go through. The ones that don't are like individual hosted ones.

Is your default browser set to Internet Browser or to the MDS Browser?

This can be found from the browser>options>general properties

That did it. Somehow it was changed to the MDS Browser and not what it was before (Internet Browser). Thanks for the help!
