If I bought an 8330 dummy phone, could I replace the front, keyboard, buttons, etc. on my 8320 so it looks like an 8330? The color scheme is quite a bit better.

yes. i heard you can swap the shells.

you might have to wait until someone starts selling the shells, though... & i think you'll have to be checking for them often coz those might sell QUICK.

I'm guessing the dummy phones have shells that you can swap onto a working phone. Anyone know for sure?

You are correct. All Curves have the same dimensions. The only real difference is that I have seen is the earpiece is a different shape and the Call, Menu, Back and End buttons are not polished, they are black.

It's fairly simple to take apart the Curve. Its only six screws really. Here is a video from YouTube that goes through it step by step.

The only problem you may run into is that alot of the dummy phones are simply glued together and do not use screws or rivets. Best of luck and let us know how it goes. If it works, I wouldn't mind changing the housing on my ol 8310.

Not to mention that the LED seems to be a different spot (lower down) on the 8330 than on the 8300, 8310 and 8320.

I like the look of the Spring 8330 a lot. Great color, nice accents...too bad it won't fit on my 8310.

wrong....the dummy cannot be used...does not have the same screw hole or the battery cover doesnt have the hooks..
