Yes, you will have to delete the vendor file. Do a search on this forum (FAQ's) for how to install.

It's a legit link. Now if only 8330 would leak for all you people!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I am real excited. ,33 was not a good experience. From what I read over the past few days, this version is supposed to be very stable.
HTML E-Mail here we come.

Just as a reminder do not post any links/locations on where to obtain beta OS files.

Is this the last beta that exists? I am not referring to what is accessible?

ok, so here is my question...I know how to get tapped into certain cirlces in many communities like this, but this one seems to be a bit more exclusive (I dont mean this in a bad way). How does one go about meeitng the appropriate people...based on the simple fact we dont want to spoil our nice relationship that the site has with BB.

Keep in mind my low post count is not an indicaiton of a lack of presence here, just a general lack of a need to post consistently.

TIA

Are you trying to become a beta tester? If so you will have to contact RIM directly for that. Noone here can give you that process. As for finding these OS's, just a simple matter of looking for them. We just do not condone posting links/discussing locations to find them.

My appologies for the posting of the location. If you simply search, you can find it. Good luck. Mine is working great.

Dang <insert name of download service>! Restricted by IP, so downloading this from work isn't working as someone else in my building must currently be downloading it. ARGH!

I liked .33, so hopefully this addresses the few niggling annoyances that the last beta did (multi select, 1xev drop outs, some memory leakage).

^As far as I know, no. When there is a leak it usually ends up on blog sites VERY quickly.
