I have the Verizon 8330 with the Verizon Handheld software Version 4.3.0.127. It will work fine with versions 4.2.2, 4.3 and 4.5 of Desktop Manager. If, however, I install the Handheld Software from the Verizon site to do a firmware restore, Desktop Manager will not see the Blackberry connected. The computer, does see the media card which comes up as a drive but DM does not see the Blackberry.
I have to uninstall both the Handeheld Software and DM, then reinstall DM to get the connection working.
How can I fix this?

I did a repair install of Desktop Manager and the problem was resolved.
