Yes and the cable itself says USB 2.0 on it. The transfers crawl!

It goes much faster if you put the card in a card reader. Just the way it is.

Figured. My desktop doesn't have a card reader though :(

I bought one at Office Depot for less than $10. Looks like a thumbdrive but has a slot to plug in the microSD card. I use it when transferring large files.

What speed card are you using? I have a class 6 in my 8120 and file transfers fly. I can add 2 or 3 albums in a couple seconds (15 or so). Try upgrading to a faster card.
