I have on user that is showing an IT Policy Status of Error and an IT Policy Status Message of 'Reject Security Violation'. In the policy log, I am seeing

RequestHandler::HandleITADMINDataCommand - ITPolicy Fail Ack for the command SET_IT_POLICY_COMMAND, ErrorCode 0x2, ErrorText "Reject Security Violation"

No luck googling. Anyone seen this before?

Background: Everything seems to be working fine for him, I just can't push out a new IT policy to him. BES 4.1.5 Exchange 2003 - user was recently moved from 1 server to another - same config db - hundreds of others moved successfully with no IT policy errors.

Single blackberry domain ? Was he activated on some other BES prior and not removed before activation on new BES?

One other thing i noticed its users with Device 8110 and software version 4.3.0.93...

I have this also with 2 users:

(1) 8110 with 4.3.0.93
(1) 8130 with 4.3.0.97

This may apply. Lookup SDR 175714 from the 4.1.6 release notes.

If the device was activated on another domain you will see the error disaplyed in the IT Policy status if trying to activate same device on different domain. Even after wipe or nuke there is a trace left of the iT Policy.
