Morning,

I am new to BES and this was my first install. Everything is working incuding emails, calendar, etc but I keep getting this error in the event logs and I have yet to find a solution for it.

Everytime I start the Blackberry MDS Connection Service it gives this error.

Here is all the info:

BES: 4.1.6.26 on its own server
Exchange 2007 SP1 on its own server
SQL 2005 on its own server

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Here is what I found in the log files. Is it supposed to try and login with the sever name? If not, where do I change the user name?

What is the NetBIOS computer name of your BES? The netbios name must be reflected in the MDS_CS server name.
