Anyone know a way to get the clock to come up on the standby screen instead of just going black. I know you can set the clock to come on when the phone is plugged in, by I would like to have it as standby.

I have tried everything however unable to find a way. Hopefully someone figured it out.

I have found you cannot do this. It is a security issue that after a certain period of time, the screen goes blank so that if you have it password protected no one can access your berry.

I seem to remember my old 7290 having a screen saver setting that I could use to display an image whenever the device was locked. This was in addition to the background image you could have on your home screen.

I don't think I could use a clock though, just a static image. But I haven't seen this setting in subsequent models either.
