Default 4.5- How to switch between Internet, Blackberry, Hotspot browsers while browsing

Please Login to Remove!

So in the previous OS, you'd hit go to... and then the menu key and change browser, it was that simple.

I can't for the life of me, and I'm a long time BB user, figure out how to switch between browsers. Am I missing something painfully obvious?

Certainly I can switch the default browser and then relaunch, but that's more than a little tedious. I frequently need to move between the Blackberry browser to access the company intranet and the internet or hotspot browsers.

Thanks in advance to any and all!

When you're at the screen with history, bookmarks, etc.... click menu > Options > General Properties > and then change the Default Browser.

Thanks for the reply.

As I mentioned in my post, I'm aware I can switch the default browser, but that's more than a little tedious as the majority of my web time is not going through the MDS (and it tends to be slower that way).

Certain sites are within my corporate intranet, so I need to use the Blackberry Browser and not having a convenient way to switch between Blackberry, Internet and WiFi browsers is a bummer.

Also, having the ability to switch between the internet browser, with pages that have been formatted by the carrier for mobile browsing, and the WiFi browser which pulls raw pages is an important feature of the BB browser.

I still feel like maybe that ability is in there and I'm just not seeing it.

Tmo, I'm running the 4.5.0.52 version from Orange UK. It has other issues (memory leaks galore), though I'm not sure the browser thing is a build issue but rather a missing feature.

On the other hand, I don't have an icon for the blackberry browser so that may be something that will come with the official Tmo build.
