Here's the next issue which I believe I've heard happen to other peoples devices. When loading videos in youtube, nothing plays at all. It says loading then after a few minutes errors out. What could I potentially do to resolve this issue?

And also, when completing this update it removed the preset ringtones and pictures. What would be the solution for this issue as well?

Don't know about the first issue, 8830 that I've seen on 4.5.0.77 works with youtube just fine.

The missing preloads have been covered to death on here. Simple search shows this:

Okay, heres the thing. I could follow those steps however I did not have the 4.5.0.51 OS on my unit. I had the 4.2, so is the file I am supposed to copy named something else because I don't see the one listed on that page for my old OS

Scratch that, I was able to do the same thing but pulled the file from my 4.2 OS. It just had a different name, but now my ringtones are back. BUT what about my old preset pictures, where on earth did those go?

Search around the forums for the fixes and info you're looking for. The fix for the ringtones is simple. The fix for Youtube is non-existent because Bell/TELUS have decided we cannot use Youtube.

I was able to resolve the ringtone issue, not the picture issue but I can live without the preloaded pictures.

And the youtube issue, quite frustrating when the 8330 is able to use youtube and still be on the Bell or Telus network...I'll never understand
