Confused
Please Login to Remove!
I am new to this website and to the blackberry in general. I was reading through some threads and did not understand how to upload ringtones to my 7520. If someone could give me step by step instructions and possibly some breakdown of what a "wap" and other stuff mean I would be extremely grateful.

dude get ready to get flamed! this is probally the worst subject here for getting ripped about welcome to the board. Id suggest you do a little more research there are many good threads about this one subjest as a matter of fact I bet there was atleast 25 maybe 30.
edit:
that answer will be the nicest of the bunch that I can assure you.
Go to a site that has midi tunes and hit play if you like it. save it.
plain simple directions if it wont play you cant save it
mobile.blackberry.com is a start for you
Dont ever call me a character, I am not a character I am me real flesh and blood.
And as far as my welcome to the board I take that back

Repsonses
Well that was delightfully un-informative. I have been sitting here trying to read through all these threads but most seem to be about everything but the 7520 or they have a terrible description of what to do. Now if anyone is going to reply please dont be like this "Dawg" character actually answer my question or leave me alone. I would prefer no response instead of whatever kind of answer that is.

Well Dawg was fairly nice about it considering the bashing people usually get when they ask that question. Basically the answer to the original question is to click on "search" at the top of the forum and type in "ring tone" and read the billions of threads which already cover that topic.

At least Dawg's posts answer the question "Whatever happened to John Rocker?"

azul_ ...I would suggest that you skim through the first "sticky" posting in this forum. It will answer 99.9% of your general questions. We all were newbies at one time and wanted a quick direct answer. But if you do search within this forum you will find answers.
