I just figured that 12 gig microsd cards would come out first.. And if they are already out to the public then I haven't heard a peep about them

i think they are skipping 12GB, and going straight to 16GB... I'm in the talks with the supplier for the group buy... I'm just looking for interested people right now... and if its a go I'll be posting it for sure with a definite price and such

I thnk you need to take a look at your guide price - certainly as far as the UK users are concerned. $140 plus shipping works out to about £75. We can buy the Sandisk 16GB cards "off the shelf" here for under £50 which is about $90.

Now if we can work some way of shipping them over to you (they could be sent individually as "gifts" to sidestep any import duties) there could be some savings to be made

At that price, I would just get two 8 gig and separate out the different styles of music I listen to. Or maybe put music on one and video on the other. 8 gig chips are running under $50 almost everywhere. I've seen them as low as $40. A single 16 gig chip isn't worth the premium to me right now.

that's OK then, I won't bother trying to be helpful either

as for whether or not they have been released you could try asking bmc digital as they seem to have a slightly different take on things.

Smile BB Pearl 8100 OS v4.5.0.69 and 16GB

I just received my 16GB Sandisk MicroSDHC card and completely filled it with 127 movies and I've had zero issues with this memory card (Pearl 8100 OS v4.5.0.69).
I thought I might, especially since the speed rating was Class 2 but it doesn't have any speed issues or freaking out. Very solid! Then I bought another for my daughter's Nintendo DS DSTT cartridge and loaded 319 games and two movies on it and still have about 3GBs free. The new Sandisk 16GB MicroSDHC card rocks! I paid around $97 (dollars not pounds) for it on a UK web site by the name of 'memorybits' something or another.
Paying almost $100 for 16GB was painful since I have bought several Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC for $19.99 (each) at www . Outpost . com and picked them up locally at the store to avoid shipping.

Cory, I'm interested in buying, but not at the prices you are quoting. That group discount you are quoting is way off, so if your price doesn't come way down, as in below the prices being listed here (a discount for buying in bulk is the point of a group buy, right), then I'll buy somewhere else.
