Default 8900 and + for Sprint?

Please Login to Remove!

So, I hear about all these great devices coming out for T-Mobile (Oh how I envy T-Mo users, switching to Sprint was a nightmare.)
I mean, there's probably not a very good chance at all of me switching from my 8130, but just out of curiousity, what new model is coming out for Sprint? Javelin? Bold? Storm? Any at all?

Ahh go figure.
I got to check out the HTC Touch Diamond today.. It's not that great. I can't really see any phone getting better than BB.
I was just curious if anything fancy-er was coming out for Sprint.
Thanks Mr. Clark.

I am officially out of my Sprint contract term and cannot be happier! I've been with Sprint for 8 years but I want a smartphone and Sprint's delays in getting new phones into their line-up is unacceptable. Where is the Bold, Storm, iphone, google phone? I don't like the Diamond and I suppose the Instinct holds up fairly well, but it's just not the same.

Sprint offered me a 10% discount on my current plan and an additional $100 discount to the listed web site prices if I re-up with a new 2 year deal. I couldn't do it.

I'll give Sprint until mid-December. I hope they have a surprise for the christmas season. If not, I'm gone.

I have heard rumors of a new Sprint device next year, but nothing more than that. No idea on model or timeframe.

There are just somthings that are obvious. There are somethings that are a given. And then there are some things better left not said. A great example is "hey guys, I hear sprint is coming out with a new phone next year. Don't know what it is or when its coming out, but hey its gossip." If this wasn't a public forum, I would ban you from ever replying to anything on this website ever again.

As much as I hate rumors...(And the damn hostility in this forum alone, people are just soo touchy about rumors)

I had buddy that called Sprint asking about an official release for OS 4.5 the rep told him Sprint was going to release 4.5 along with the Bold... I must have verfied with him 3x's that they said Bold since it is an AT&T exclusive.... (For the time being)

But like everything else you gotta take it with a grain of salt.

I just renewed my contract with sprint a couple days ago. If they dont bring out BB Storm in these next 2 years then im going to have to move on over to verizon.

In 2 years RIM will be well beyond the Storm.

I couldn't do the same. 2 years feels like a lifetime with an inferior phone. I'm out of my contract but is it too much to ask for just ONE blackberry phone released before or with the other carriers? Bold? Curve?

Sprint is terrible. I have one foot out the door.

I'm glad I made the switch to Sprint really. I have service...thats a big deal for me (No really with ATT I never had a signal with several phones), the cost was outstanding, and the customer service seems good so far. Oh! No weird charges with no explination seem to come my way like ATT
But yeah they are behind on PDA/Smartphones. Rumors are around about Sprint getting this phone or that one, some about getting a Storm like phone but with a standard keyboard. Who knows! Before anything they need to get their picture mail/MMS fixed and release 4.5 (or hell by the time they do that be ready with 4.6)

look fact is sprint always is last to get phones but they do have the best service and prices $99 for everything unlimited is something that hasnt been matched by anyone they all are suckers and can only offer $99 for voice. i work on the road 70+ hrs a week and to be able to tether for no fee is amazing. fact is i would LOVEEEEE the storm as much as the next guy but ill settled with my world phone with OS 4.5 till something more enticing comes up its not like its a bad phone its very stable unlike the curve. i have friends would changed in there phone 5 times in one yr i havent even thought about changing my first phone....

Well thats my 3 cents anyways...
