So i have tried to install my BlackBerry Desktop Software onto my Mac, but it DOES NOT WORK!
what on earth do i do?

I downloaded that pocketbook for Mac, but it isnt that great.
Is there a way I can get the Desktop Manager to work on my Mac?

Desktop Manager is a windows only program. It won't work on a mac.

What you need to do is use bootcamp (comes with osx leopard) to do a dual boot of osx and windows, or use some virtualization software to run windows at the same time as osx (this is how I do it).
