Does your PC do word processing?

Same question.

It's about software. The GPS in any phone is just hardware. What software you put with it is what creates functionality. There are dozens of applications for navigation that can be used with BlackBerry GPS hardware. And it is carrier dependent as to what any particular carrier will bundle with their phone. Some it's only BlackBerry Maps.... which has no voice turn by turn navigation. AT&T bundles Telenav which does. However, there is a monthly charge for that. And they bundle it with other phones besides BlackBerry. Verizon has their own app. So does Sprint. And the list goes on and on.

If you look in the GPS forum, you can see all kinds of software which can be part of your Blackberry experience.
