Are you on BIS or BES. If you are on BIS, then email doesn't sync so therefore when you delete in Outlook, you still have to delete on the BB. This is how the BB works.

Most likely, the delete from the BB to your Outlook client occurs on the server side before mail hits your Outlook account. Is that the case?

do a Reconcile Now and check if that helps. Have you tried with a USB cable?

How are you deleting email in Outlook? If you quickly empty your Deleted Items or perform a hard delete in Outlook BES can't reconcile the deletion.

How does it work when we move emails from mailbox to personal folder. Does the handheld consider that email to be deleted or what?

When an e-mail is moved out of the mailbox to a PST file, for the server is like you are deleting the e-mail. in must cases that is like doing a Shift+Delete (Hard Delete)

hello,

I have exactly the same problem on 2 BB in my 150 handled fleet.
The handled are configure like each other.

Did this can be link to the Exchange account ? I didn't have access to Exchange and cannot take a look by myself.

I continue my investigations and post if i found something.

The items you delete must be in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook in order for them to synchronize. You cannot Shift-Delete (which bypasses the Deleted Items folder). You also cannot set Outlook to empty Deleted Items folder on Exit. I realize others suggested this, but the responses seemed unclear to me.

Follow these steps to test:

1. Delete an email that appears on both BB and in Outlook Inbox by hitting the delete key only in Outlook.
2. Confirm that it is in your Deleted Items Folder.
3. Synchronize with the Exchange Server.
4. If you have Outlook Web Access, connect to your Exchange Server Mailbox and confirm that the item is in your Deleted Items folder on the Exchange Server.
5. In the Mail Application on the BB, select Reconcile Now from the menu.

The email should now be deleted on the BB. If not, I would say it is a BES problem beyond my ken.
