Who...Cares...

I don't understand these threads, 4.5 has been out for MONTHS and will work just fine on any provider's BB.

I care, the newest version up top did not work so well and wiped out some stuff on my phone. Ive used the software ahead of schedule before, but it was announced last month that 4.5 was coming.

Try not to be so self centered.

I have installed Many different OS's on devices from completely different providers. It is unfortunate that you had a poor experience with your upgrade attempt. I would suggest trying again. When installing the new Os, follow the Memory optimazation guide that is sticky'd in the general forum.

Can you be more specific on what you were missing after the update?

Sorry to hear that you lost things off your phone, but that's why they encourage backups to be done often. 4.5 has been coming for months now. It's best to just not get too antsy about when it will arrive.

4.5 will arrive right after the bold. I'm not holding my breath and I had a very pleasant time upgrading.

ATT releasing 4.5 doesn't mean you wont have problems. There will be absolutely nothing special about it vs versions from other providers, other than the fact that it's on their download page.

Seriously, I've used about 10 different incarnations of 4.5 and it's great. .81 is very solid, no problems at all.

4.5 for AT&T will arrive the same day it hits VZW, which will be the same "Day That the Earth Stood Still"

This wasnt the first time Ive upgraded to another OS, just the first time it acted up, guess I could just try again. Was kinda hoping theyd get off their butt and give us an offical ATT version.

ATT really needs to get over their Iphone love and quit screwing with Blackberry.
