Default Beta OS for 8830

Please Login to Remove!

Is it me or are the betas for the 8830 WE just REAL slow in coming out?? Seems like every other day there's a new beta for one model or another, but never for the 8830, until everyone else has gotten 2 or more OS's.

Just sayin' is all....

Probably has to do more with CDMA being a smaller market. Still inconvenient either way.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I am told there are more advanced versions than what is showing in my profile but I haven't found them.

Not sure if this bug is theme related, or if it applies to 4.5.077 across the board.

I've noticed that when I reboot my handheld, all of my icon settings (position, hidden/visible, etc) and folders disappear.

I'm running Vodafone Today (white).

Anyone else seeing this?

I know this was an early bug in the 4.5 GSM builds I guess it may have shown up in CDMA.

Why does it always have to be us! I envy the 8330! 4.5.0.97 is taking mad long for the 8830!

Let us know what you find. I just downloaded it too but don't have time to upgrade right now.

Default rel138 4.5.0.101

Ok, rel138 .101 is out in the wild.

I'm installing it now, hopefully this time we wont have to manually install our ringer files...

javaloader.exe is a lot faster, radio buttons may be bigger, more free memory...

In BBM it says Contacts in English even when my bb is in Hebrew, open conversations are in Heb, and pending also in Hebrew. sO it seems like they updated something in BBM, the Hebrew came from an older version.

The Standyby/Mute button seemes to be working a little differently. When playing audio file pressing the mute button toggles play/pause. It used to just mute the volume.

Other than that I don't really see any visible changes. The icons in the call log look a little different (or my mind may just be playing tricks on me).

Seems stable, but then again I had very little trouble with .77 too.
