I'm a Palm user who just got a Blackberry (7750) through work.

I recognize that there are some things that I will need to continue to use my Palm (T3) for, i.e. pictures, MP3, banking apps, etc. My goal is to be able to just keep the 'Berry with me most of the time.

While the basic PIM functions of the 'Berry can't compare with Palm, the Address Book and Calendar are functional.

I'm really struggling with the Taks app, though.

*While you can sort by date, the date isn't displayed.
*There are only three priority options vs. five in the latest Palm OS.
*The priorities aren't displayed.
*Most importantly, there aren't categories. Keeping all of my work ToDos mixed in whith those from home is a non-starter.

With a application category so integral to basic PIM functionality, I can't understand the weakness of the built in Tasks app, and the dearth of third party apps. The only one I found was EZ ToDo. At $7 US, you get what you pay for. While it has categories, there are only two priorities, a small number of characters for the titles (that don't wrap, and there is no "notes" field), no dates, and a very cumbersome way to move tasks up and down the list.

Is there nothing else available, or am I missing something? :(
