Wheni ran the upgrade program it told me I had the latest version of OS. I am running 4.2.2.170. It will not let me update to the 4.5.

Help?

at&t has not released the new os yet

The phone provider has to release the update.... not necessarily other carriers or RIM. There were a lot of problems with At&t and v 4.5

What problems are you speaking of? I have been running the various versions of 4.5 on AT&T (have been for several months now) with NO problems whatsoever. So have two of my daughters...

Same here, have yet to have a problem with it on AT&T. If I do it has been user error.

i have 8310 att and have been running versions 4.5 for months .but what i had to do is as instructed is download os to my pc then run it delete vender xml ile and then use the desktop apploader works fine for me.i have not tried to do it wirelessly

There was an article on blackberryforums.com back when v4.5 was new and they discusses how the OTA upgrade for devices wiped the sim card and locked up the device, t-mobile had their own little problems as well.

When 4.5 was "new" it was unstable betas that did that to the phones. The released 4.5s are much better now.

I am running 4.5 too. After a small glitch with Calendar themes was solved (wiping the calendar on my BB and resynching ) I have been trouble free.
