on my Windows Mobile phone, I used to have a program to send a sms link to friends so they could type the url on their computer and it'll bring up a point on google maps. any way to do this on a blackberry?

it would change a link like this

i know bbmaps has a send location menu option, but it creates this massive link like the google one above that doesn't really make it friendly to type.

BlackBerry Maps has a "Send Location" menu entry. I never used it but I hear it works

There is also "Sendafix" from Virtual Views that allows you to do this as well...integrates w/Google Maps on the receiving Blackberry.
