i was going to get one of those but there is a youtube video n regards to the scratch proofness of the screen. it withstood a knife so i think your pockets are safe for the phone.

As much as I agree with cabll88 after seeing that video, an extra layer of protection makes me feel comfortable. I've never used the IS before, but after seeing all the reviews and videos I bought the complete storm coverage set, should be in by this weekend and I'll try to remember to update you on how I like it.

It is a good system. It is a little tedious to put on, but I used one on my Pearl and it worked great. I never had to replace it either, and the screen always looked great. Best Buy is selling it too now. Mine is on the way!

The Invisi Shield covers more than just the screen, it covers the whole phone. You put it on in individual pieces, but it has coverage for every part of the phone, so it is like having it in a case.

Default invisible shield

invisible shield just used 3M Paint Protection Film and cuts it to size for you. There are many companies that use the same material and charge alot less.

I personally buy all of mine from Best Skins Ever, Inc. Home Page once you compare prices you will not touch invisible shield.

There is a similar shield occasionally being sold on Ebay. It is allegedly used on military helicopter blades. It covers the entire phone.

I have met one person who has this installed on his phone. I handled the phone and found it to be rather nice. But it merely protects the phone from scratches and does not prevent impact related damage - such as dropping the phone.

I have a screen protector and high quality silicon type cover. The phone has been dropped twice and literally bounced. No damage.

The Storm is not a small flip phone. Its a quality device. I strongly urge anyone to forgo style and flashy appearance and protect your investment. Especially if you have an active lifestyle.

I tried invisible shield for my iPhone and liked this product MUCH better: Best Skins Ever, Inc. Home Page

BestSkin seems to fit much better and it is slightly thinner, so it feels better. Not that InvisibleShield was bulky, but it definitely was thicker than BestSkin.

I vote BestSkin. Much less expensive than InvisibleShield too.

I have used the Shield, found that it turns color, took me about 30 minutes to install on my 8830, I then switched to one sold by Verizon which also was a privacy screen.

So when i got my Storm, I bought the one from Verizon and it works just fine. And it was only $10 not $30.

Did you let the invisible shield set? Yes at first it makes the screen look weird and ripply but after about 2-3 solid days it fades and you cant see anything. You may have been just too impatient.

One of the things that I like about the Invisible shield vs best skins ever is that Invisible shield provides the solution to apply the protector to the phone while BSE does not and it get's messy trying to mix your own soapy solution.

Stop being a chizzler and buy invisible shield, which will come with the proper application spray, nuff said.
