Default Calender only syncing no contacts

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so this is what happend:

I updated my 9500
I went to activate BES and it happend really fast so I made sure it was all done.
Calender was all there and nothing else.
I reset my activation and tried again. My emails came threw and nothing else.

My contacts will not come threw
I also do not have desktop[sync] in my service books...

any idea how to get my device back up and running?

If you're an admin you should know to provide us with more details.

1. What version of server O/S?
2. What mail system (MS Exchange Server / IBM Lotus Domino / Novell Groupwise)?
3. What version of the mail system. (If Domino, what version of mail file template are you using?)
3. What version of the BES. (version number, and what type of BES license - Enterprise, Small Business, BPS, Unite?)
4. Are the BES and mail server on the same box? Is that box a domain controller
5. Were you previously using a different device on this same BES? Did that work? Or is this a new installation / first installation?

My only guess would be to 1. factory wipe the handheld, 2. delete your account from the BES (also manually delete the state database for your user account in Domino, if you are on Domino), 3. perform enterprise activation.

If that doesn't work, we're going to need more details (maybe run some maintenance utilities against the server, check to see that your account (with the carrier) is provisioned correctly, check the BESAdmin permissions on the server, etc

Before wiping the HH, check and make sure that you have the Wireless Sync option available on the HH. If not, delete and resend your Desktop[SYNC] service book. If you still do not get the wireless sync option then make sure that Address Book sync is enabled at the Server and user levels on the BES.

If you do have the Wireless Sync option, make sure that BlackBerry Sync Service is started on the BES.
