Default Annoying keyboard!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there. Do you know if it's possible to turn the keyboard off while reading emails, text messages. When reading them, I only have 1/2 a screen to look at the info, its very annoying. I cannot see why the screen comes up when I do not need it..

Thanks

My keyboard does not come up in messages unless I am replying or forwarding. You can make the keyboard disappear by swiping down across it.

What I did to fix this problem (and other times the keyboard pops up unwanted) was to program my right convenience key to be the virtual key board. That way you can call it up or remove it anytime... I know you can do that with the swipe function also...but I found that didnt always work...the convenience key makes it very easy.

Just swipe the keyboard down.

I too have used my right convenience key to enable or disable the virtual keyboard. Its a lot more consistent than having to swipe down. Sure, I use that feature too... its great to have... but the convenience key is more consistent.
