Which version is best for my Bold? Does one have advantages over the other?

There is very little difference between the two. The ATT version has the ATT branding.

How do I remove the ATT version (which I pay monthly for) and install the TelNav version? I don't mind paying the same $, I just don't like the ATT version.

I haven't used both but people with the at&t version do seem to post about problems more often.

Go to the Telenav site and select Rogers as your carrier rather than AT&T and download the Telenav version. Works fine without AT&T logos and your bill will be from Telenav. Note, the initial defaults will be metric so you will want to convert.

I use the same version from my curve on the Bold but would like to have a Telenav branded app that is built for the Bold. The 8300 version works ok but the screen sizing is a little off. I am unable to select Rodgers as the carrier on the Telenav site. It is not listed.

i contacted (called) TeleNav and told them the AT&T version was not working.....they sent me an e-mail with a link on it to download.....your password should be ur last 4 of ur number.....i could never get the AT&T version to work...no 3d maps

i tried posting the link, but i don't have enough posts to do so...sorry.....but getting it from telenav should not be hard to do & is probably the best way about it...at least you will know you are downloading the right software....looks like the link they gave me is just for the 8310 anyway

i had to ask them for it a couple of times since my first 2 curves were messed up. i have their customer service number if you need it....every-time i have called them they have always given great service.
