Please let me know if anyone has come across the same thing...

I sync my Bold with Desktop Manager 4.6 to Outlook 2003 on my PC:
Sometimes it all works fine, and the 650 contacts, and 900 or so calendar events are in sync between the PC and the Device.

Sometimes though, Desktop Manager wants to DELETE all of the calendar entrees out of my Outlook. Luckily, I have it prompt me before doing so, so that I can hit "reject". I end up calling RIM and sitting on hold and then with them for 2+ hours each week, they basically delete them all from my device, reload them and sync again until it seems to be working. Then, a week later the same thing happens (and RIM has closed the ticket so i have to start all over again).

Why would this be happening? Please let me know if theres more details needed to help diagnose the problem, I'm really struggling here.

I have observed the same behavior [deletion of Calendar items] with my new Bold. I have both Outlook and the phone OS set to keep Calendar forever and transfer all scheduled items. I have not yet found out what causes this, or how to effectively combat it.

I only have 400 calendar entries, so it is probably not related to the number of entries.

No explanation yet, but I am looking for a solution or workaround.
