So I will be in traveling outside the US, I have unlocked my Storm and I already have the SIM card I will be using while in my destination. My question is if I will be able to receive my emails (I know browsing is not an option). Do I have to do another setting?

No, you won't have any BlackBerry Data with a foreign SIM card.

Just make sure your setting is for GLOBAL and AUTOMATIC. I travel out of the country several times a year with my 8830 and as soon as my plane touches down I switch on my BlackBerry and within 30 seconds it roams to the local carrier and all my email downloads immediately. Works like a dream. Also call Verizon before you leave and let them know you are traveling out of the country and make sure their computers are set up accordingly.

That's fine for when you're using the Verizon/Vodafone SIM card that's part od your Global Data package with Verizon.

It won't work this way using a pre-paid SIM from some other wireless carrier.

get any kinda edge service from any provide i.e if u have vodafone in india to activate vodafone life u will be able to recieve but not email anybdy because service books will still check the emails
