Default Use your mini USB chargers with 8900

With this little ditty ... I ordered a couple ... looks like you can even attach and "dangle" it from the charger cord to keep handy.

Wirelessly posted

I suppose this is one good thing about the 8900's delay to US carriers - I have plenty of time to order these adapters online and even select silly slow shipping.

Might be better getting this since it's easier to lose the adapter than the complete cable.

Actually, I have now found more of those conversion dongles on E-Bay, and, have bought like 6 of them. They are actually great, as they securly stay tethered to the mini USB chargers and cables (via the hanging string), and, easily allows you to use both mini and micro USB as needed. As I have many devices that use mini USB, as well as my 8900 micro USB, it is quite handy for travel to have both options on each cable or charger.

I was looking them up yesterday and actually they are even cheaper now. on amazon some of them are only a little over $1 so just do a search you should be able to find a few places that sell them for that price

From what I hear, the micro will be replacing the mini on a number of things. Not sure why the change.

Side note.... I received a wall charger and a USB charger with my Pearl. Does anyone know what's "in the box" for the 8900?
