I have a anoying problem and I am sure not the first to experience so would value any support the forum can provide.

I have a Bold syncing with Outlook 2007 via IMAP on Vodafone in the UK. Messages receive fine at both locations, however if I open a mail in outlook to read leave open to read then close again, I get a second copy on my BB.

It seems that the BB sync's based upon a timestamp of the message rather than the fact of being read or not.

Has anyone experienced this problem and sorted a resolutio?

I had this issue as well as several others in my office while on BIS. We were never able to find a good resolution. You can search old threads about this problem and I am sure you will find many others who had the problem and was not able to fully resolve it. Once my office switched to BES, our office problems went away. I know this does not help you but at least lets you know this is a real issue that others have seen.
