Will Desktop Manager 4.2 work with OS 4.5? Or would I have to upgrade to newer version to use Desktop Manager with OS 4.5? I am trying to keep DM 4.2 to use with Outlook 2000. I know I can load OS 4.5 using Loader.exe without using Desktop Manager, just wondering the after effects on Desktop Manager 4.2 when OS 4.5 is loaded. Does it just not work anymore with apps, etc.

This is on an AT&T 8310.

Great news, my situation too. Gotta salvage that Outlook 2000 for as long as I can. One more question though. Should I use the "Loader" to install OS 4.5 or will the 4.2 DM install OS 4.5?

4.2 DM will load the 4.5

But I think that if BB is unlocked you need to delete the vendor.xml file and use the loader

The BB being unlocked or not doesn't play a role in the loading of an OS. 4.2DM will load the 4.5 OS as is.
