Default uninstall application

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

This might be very stupid .... and i don't think its feasible ... but still want to know for sure.

Suppose my device is not BES activated, can we invoke an api or use any other way, to uninstall the application on the device remotely. I know it can be done through BES if the device is activated. Even if we can wipe the device ... its OK. Basically the user should not have access to the application after the action takes place.

Please don't mind if this is one of most silly questions on the forum ... I had to confirm before i can say so to my boss.

Hi,
unless you yourself were the developer and had written some sort of 'bullet' or something to tell the application to update itself with new empty modules, without it being on the BES, there's no way I know of to have an application removed remotely. (short of asking the remote user to go to options -> advanced options -> applications and removing the app manually)
