I've had some reception trouble since updating to 162 last week.
My bold will lose its connection and show "SOS"
Turning it off and on gets the connection back, sometimes just for a few seconds, sometimes for a couple of hours then it goes again.
I've also tried turning off and on the connection through the "manage connections" menu, it sometimes holds the connection sometimes not.
Any help or suggestions much appreciated before I go mad!

I would definitely update it again to something new than .162. .216 is the newest "official" release from a carrier. You could go with that and see if it works better for you.
