Default 4.6 for Pearl 8100...

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know of any time frame for this??

or is the general way of thinking that 4.5 is the last RIM with push for the 8100?

I thought this was common knowledge. This question has been asked before. Do a search and you will find a lot of discussion about 5.0

I don't know you, and if you have a question, why don't you try searching first.

It's sad cause it doesn't look like they are going to continue the pearl line, unless they have something up their sleeves...they are redoing the Curve but just made the Flip which isn't a candybar so it shouldn't be called the Pearl Flip

That sucks, because I love the Pearl. I think it's the most beautiful phone I've ever seen. I bought a Curve because of the QWERTY keyboard and bigger screen and had it for 16 months, but then I bought a Pearl a couple of weeks ago and I love it except for the camera. The camera sucks, which is weird since both the Curve and the 8110 have 2Mp cameras. Either there is something wrong with the software or they put a really crappy lens on the Pearl. But I still love the Pearl. Heck of a phone.

According to the RIM Roadmap a new Pearl might be coming this year with 3G support.
