Default Upgrading "in the dark"???

Please Login to Remove!

I currently have .228 on my Bold. Works fantastic...quicker response, far less memory loss than any OS I've ever had. Still can't get live search but I have found Poynt and it works pretty good....Question---I know the OS .234 is ready for download, but why? What new bells and whistles is it bringing to the table I don't all ready have? Is there a section in the forums that gives you an idea of why you should upgrade. I would hate to leave a very good OS just to upgrade with out a reason or just upgrade "in the dark".

I dont know. but I do know, you can always go back...if you have problems with .234, just downgrade to .228

Release Notes are almost NEVER given when someone posts a beta. We never know. Sometimes its just some minor tweaks, other times its a new applicaton. Typically does include twaks to the radio making connections better.

RIM needs to kick their DEV team in the ass and get them to produce lists of things that have been fixed in Revisions. The reason I would suspect they don't is because they would be telling us what is wrong with their devices. To see in evey update an attempt to fix a problem would just give end users fuel to hit them with. "Well you have been fixing this problem for 50 revisions now...!" etc. This way they can keep us in the dark suckling at their nipple for more and needing them to survive.

Sorry bad reference there but you get the idea.
