I've heard unofficially that the word is February 31st. Dunno what version though.

Since February only has 28 days this year, would it be the 28th or are you talking about March 31st?

While I agree it has been a LONG time since the last official release (especially since the Storm is in desperate need of one), there are plenty of Beta OS's out there if you're too impatient. Also, I think that this long wait will make the next official release seem EPIC in the eyes of those who have been using .75/.76 all this time.

Personally, I have used every beta OS that's been released thus far. The only one I couldn't handle and downgraded from was .90, but went to .99 then to .103 when they were released. Been pretty damn happy with where the OS is going.

Hope it is soon, although I am not a power user of the Storm, the little annoyances in using it everyday are begining to wear on my nerves.

So what is better about that .103 compared to the .75 or .76 OS?

Just curious...

It just works better? Check out the .103 thread in the Beta discussion for details and user opinions.

No need to duplicate it here.

What is the best OS in your opinion? I am only on the .76 at the moment. I am just looking for speed really, and perhaps improved camera qualities.

Thanks for your help.

My opinion, the best in beta that has been leaked is .103, and .90 before that.

Thanks, I will try it.

How do I download that one, do I have to use this megaupload software?

Although .90 didn't sit well with my little guy, I must agree with JS and say .103 is phenomenal...
again, the beta forums have helpful advice to remedy your distaste with your current operating version...as well as user reviews and outlets as to what your options are...
best of luck

How is .103 "phenominal"?

I only ask because before the betas there were so-called "amazing improvements" gained by certain settings. Then the betas started leaking and they were supposed to "improve performance dramatically".

After traversing my way through a myriad of settings, and upgrading from .75 to .99, I would hesitate to characterize any improvements as leaping advancements. Necessary fixes occurred but more fixes are required to push the phone ever closer to operating as initially advertised. Because the Storm, although a great unit, is not quite there yet.

So obviously I am thrilled that .103 is allegedly a "phenomenal" advancement.
