Ok, so I did a search but it didn't totally answer my question.

I'm going to be getting a Curve with Sprint. I was going to get the Unlimited Data share plan for $129.99/mo and I assumed that I could also use it as modem for my laptop. However, I was told by a Sprint rep that I would have to instead get the Unlimited Message share plan for $99.99/mo and a $30 Blackberry Pack plus a $15 Phone as Modem add on.

Now, I already have Shark Modem from a previous Berry. I was wondering if I could just use that w/o getting the PAM add on? Or would Sprint be able to figure it out and bill me anyway? Also, does the PAM add increase the allowable data usage (I think it's 5GB w/an Unlimited plan)?

I use my phone as a modem but I don't get charged for it nor do I have the extra plan. I have a data plan but that's the extent of it BUT, I don't have the simply everything plan.
