every time i go from the link it sent me to my phone it comes up with the web site and says visit now? how do I get the app on my phone?

That will take you to the links for each item...Or, you can get the Google Mobile Manager at the same place.
Personally, I have the GMM, Gmail and Google Maps installed.

I tried that and all i get is the gmm start screen
